Getting P2 / XDCAM EX into DS

<itunes:subtitle>How to get P2, XDCAM EX, HDV and other media into Avid DS</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary> This tutorial deals specifically with getting P2 and XDCAM EX media into Avid DS by transcoding in Media Composer, but is applicable for other types of non-native MXF media coming from Media Composer as well (captured HDV, DV, etc.) Please note that the front half of this tutorial has been made obsolete with the release of Media Composer 3.5 and it's AMA function which eliminates having to export XDCAM EX from the Sony Clip Browser and import into Media Composer. AMA allows for direct access of the original media. Transcoding to DS is still necessary, however. </itunes:summary>
